Winter hours are from 6pm Friday and Saturday, Summer hours include Thursdays, with the first course served at 7pm. Other local places of interest include the Museum and the Sprigging School in Rathbarry Village. Sprigging is a form of lace that derives its name from the fact that the motifs are shaped like a leafy sprig. The school was built in 1825 as there was a huge market for handmade lace at the time and here, local girls would learn how to embroider and make lace, thus giving them the ability to earn an income.  Other activities in this coastal area include pony trekking and surf lessons.
