Head Chef, Bob Cairns was shortlisted for Chef of the Year. ​ ​Booking is essential at The Field Kitchen as the vegetables are harvested to order on the day to ensure maximum freshness and minimum waste. ​ Specify any special dietary requirements  in your group on booking to allow us time to prepare your food.​ As well as our chargrilled beef dishes we prepare delicious menus for vegetarians and vegans, all with gluten-free and dairy-free options. Most allergies can also be accommodated if we are notified in advance. Fresh ingredients, freshly harvested, freshly prepared, freshly cooked home made food. ​ ​Over the course of your visit you will be served a series of freshly prepared dishes to share with your guests. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early as your first dish will be ready to be served shortly after your reserved time. Early arrivers are welcome to walk our farm trails or to sit, indoors or outdoors, and enjoy pre-dinner drinks.  ​ Flavours of Ireland flow to your table at the best restaurant Clonakilty has to offer using seasonal produce grown in West Cork. Our menus are updated weekly and are subject to change. Note that our kitchen uses nuts.  ​ A credit card is required to secure the booking in the best restaurant Clonakilty. Changes to guest count made less than 2 days in advance may also be subject to a charge of €69 per person.  ​ Open May to December from 6pm Fri-Sat with first course served shortly after 7pm. Additional opening on Thursdays in the Summer season from June to August. Arrive early to explore our farm walks and nature trails with panoramic views over Clonakilty Bay. Recent additions include walkways and nature trails around the farm allowing diners to get up close to the cattle and wildlife.
